What is your role at Pamarco?

Originally a plater, now a grinder and polisher.

How long have you been with Pamarco?

I started working in Roselle, NJ, as a plater. That was in November 29, 1969. In August, 1979, we were sent to Gainesville, GA. I was moved there in order to service rollers for Stauffer Chemical when they combined their Northeaster n operations with their Anderson, SC plant. I began traveling from Gainesville to Anderson and back to pick-up damaged rollers, have them repaired in the Gainesville plant, and then deliver the repaired rollers back to Stauffer. It was great preparation for the daily commute to Atlanta.

Tell us about yourself (age, education, hometown, pets, kids, hobbies):

I am 74 years old. I grew up in the town of Piscataway, New Jersey. That’s where I graduated, at Piscataway Township High School. I have one pet, a crazy Pomeranian named Divil. I have three children; two sons, JD and Bobbie, and one daughter, Lori. My hobbies include working for Pamarco.

What is your favorite thing about working at Pamarco?

I always enjoyed meeting customers when delivering and picking up rollers.

What is the craziest or coolest thing you’ve done in your life?

Craziest: Riding a motorcycle to Roselle from Piscataway in a snow storm. Riding a motorcycle onto the Staten Island Ferry was also pretty crazy.

Coolest: My relationship with my wife.

What is something unique about you?

I’ve worked 48 years for Pamarco and we all get along. That’s an accomplishment . My favorite movie is “Blast from the Past” and my favorite book is “Ender’s Game” by Orson Scott Card.
